Chad’s background is in commercial construction. In 2018, he took over the builds on his own investment properties, and it grew from there. Today, he oversees every project from scheduling and trades to inspections and the final walkthrough. His passion for building science and continuing education means he’s constantly bringing the latest techniques, materials, and best practices to every job, resulting in a better-built, higher-quality finished product. Glen has been designing and building pools for over 35 years, starting with the details that shape the entire backyard—layout, depth, placement, and custom water features. From design through excavation, gunite, decking, and equipment, he oversees the pool from start to finish. And when the vision includes a pavilion or outdoor kitchen, Glen and Chad bring it all together as one seamless project.
How we got here.
Harrison Building Co. started with a need of our own: finding a great, reliable general contractor for our real estate investments. With Chad’s background in commercial construction, it eventually made sense to bring that expertise in-house, and he transitioned into managing our projects full-time.
As our projects grew, so did the interest from other investors who wanted the same level of quality, reliability, and attention to detail for their own properties. What began as a solution for our own investments naturally grew into Harrison Building Co.
Today, we work with homeowners, investors, and business owners across North Texas to transform their properties into spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.
In 2026, Harrison Building Co. became even more of a family business when Chad’s father, Glen Harrison, joined the team. Glen brings more than 35 years of experience in custom pool design and construction, allowing us to offer clients a seamless approach to complete outdoor transformations—from the pool itself to the surrounding outdoor living space.
What started with our own projects has grown into a family-run company built around a simple idea: create spaces we’d be proud to call our own.

Walkthrough
We meet at the property, look at what you want done, and talk honestly about what it costs before anybody draws anything.
Scope & proposal
Selections get made, allowances get set, and you receive a line-item proposal. You approve a number, not a range.
Build
Trades run on a published schedule. Daily logs, progress photos, selections, and change orders live in your client portal.
Punch & close
We walk it with you, write the punch list, finish it, and clean up. Then we tell you what's under warranty and for how long.

My project was a pretty big one (adding and removing walls and cabinetry), AND took place through the holidays. Not only was the job done to perfection, it was done EARLY! I was extremely impressed with the level of communication I received throughout the project. I was kept informed of progress and changes on a daily basis. This is the only contractor I will call from now on.

They didn’t overlook any details, and when issues arose (as they often will with tricky projects), they found creative ways to address them and didn’t give up until the work was done right, and to our satisfaction.
All through the two month process we were so grateful to have such a responsive and professional contractor! We were super pleased with the timeline that never stalled out. Every time we visited the home something had transformed, with subcontractors on the project every day. Communication was always outstanding.
Chad was there every step of the way making sure it was what I wanted. He was very detail oriented and an extremely nice person to work with. His crew was also very friendly and their workmanship was excellent. I now have a gorgeous new bathroom that is even better than I imagined.
